Air Force ROTC Detachment 365 is dedicated to identifying and developing the finest leaders for the United States Air Force and Space Force. Our rigorous program combines academic excellence with high-stakes leadership training, instilling cadets with the Air Force's core values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do. Here, we don't just teach military operations; we forge the character required to command at the highest levels of global defense.
WHAT WE OFFER
HOW TO JOIN

INITIAL SCREENING
Prospective cadets must be U.S. citizens, full-time students at an affiliated university, and demonstrate good moral character while maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.

PHYSICAL FITNESS
Successful candidates must pass the Air Force Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA). This rigorous evaluation includes push-ups, sit-ups, and a timed 1.5-mile run to ensure tactical readiness.

ACADEMIC ENROLLMENT
Register for Aerospace Studies courses via your university registrar. Most students begin the program during their freshman (AS100) or sophomore (AS200) academic year.

FIELD TRAINING
After completing the first two years of the program, cadets attend an intense 21-day field training assessment at Maxwell Air Force Base to evaluate leadership potential.
THE PRIDE OF DET 365
LEADERSHIP LAB
Weekly practical training where cadets apply command and control techniques in simulated field environments.
PHYSICAL TRAINING
Developing the physical discipline and strength required to lead in the United States Air Force and Space Force.
FIELD LEADERSHIP
Joint detachment exercises at Fort Devons Reserve Training Area where cadets formalize their readiness for Field Training.
COLOR GUARD
Representing Det 365 and the Air Force at major campus events, athletic games, and community commemorations.
NETWORKING
Monthly fireside chats with active duty officers to bridge the gap between classroom theory and operational reality.
COMMISSIONING
The culmination of years of discipline as cadets transition to Second Lieutenants in the US Air or Space Force.
